Cato Lein is considered the #1 photographer in Sweden. He was born in Norway and moved to Stockholm in the 1980s. Since then he has developed a reputation for portraying both national and international writers and artists in unique and distinctive ways.

Cato Lein had a website that wasn’t doing his photography much justice. The site was sluggish, the layout broken, and the images hard to view. Most notably, the website was not responsive, making it almost impossible to browse on mobile and tablet devices.

We decided to change that. The new Cato Lein website has an attractive, fully responsive black and white design that matches Cato Lein’s artistic style perfectly. It presents his work in stylish lightbox galleries, and is optimised for search engines and social media sharing out-of-the-box. Hand-coded, lightweight, and highly optimised, the website also has some truly impressive performance metrics, scoring 100 out of 100 in all areas of Google’s PageSpeed Insights test, both on desktop and mobile.
